Ellerslie International Flower Show, Christchurch New Zealand 11 - 15 March 2009, Hagley Park, Christchurch
At its new venue in central Christchurch's Hagley Park, the 13th Ellerslie International Flower Show is shaping up to be the best yet.
Show favourites to return in 2009 will be Hort Galore, Floral Art Marquee and Starlight Marquee. Christchurch will also put its own 'stamp' on the show - introducing a number of new features, including the Taste of the South - the best food and wine the South Island has to offer.
Ellerslie will showcase the unique English heritage that helped name Christchurch 'The Garden City'.
With around 80 horticultural exhibits including 28 show gardens from some of NZ's best designers, Ellerslie will be a great place to get fresh ideas for your garden.
Open Wed 11th March: 10am to 6pm; Thurs 12th March: 10am to 6pm; Fri 13th March: 10am to 8:30pm; Sat 14th March: 10am to 8:30pm; Sun 15th March: 10am to 6pm
